A football, a final, an Istanbul story.
For the 2026 UEFA Europa League Final in Istanbul, Decathlon France asked us to photograph the official match ball in the city hosting the final. The brief gave us a chance to tell an Istanbul story through football.

Challenge
The ball already belonged to one of European football’s biggest nights. Our task was to give it a sense of place before it reached the stadium: images that feel unmistakably Istanbul and close to the people who live there.
Approach
We photographed the ball inside the everyday rhythm of the city. Local textures, daily routines, neighbourhood culture and real people shaped the shoot, and football became the connection between the product and an Istanbul full of character.
Result
A photo series with a strong local identity, created for Decathlon France ahead of the European final.
